I teach Guitar, Bass, Voice, Piano, and Ukulele from age six to eighty-six. I have over 14 years’ experience teaching as a professional and I strive to create unique lessons that suit each client’s style, preference, and end-goal. In addition to teaching privately, I’ve taught at Guitar Chicago and George’s Music. I use my Berklee College of Music background to add music theory, ear training, and harmony into each lesson. I have a Berklee College of Music Songwriting Degree and I also teach Songwriting and Lyric Writing. I’ve taught guitar clinics and group lessons ranging from two to five people at a time. At Berklee, I studied lyric writing under Pat Pattison. John Mayer who also went to Berklee said of Pat Pattison, “You know, I took a class with Pat Pattison, a really great teacher, and he was very honest with the class and said, ‘You know, you might never use this, but I am giving you the tools.’ I learned a lot of stuff in that class in terms of, just again, how to approach things.” I am well versed in multiple styles including Jazz, Blues, and Pop Music. Currently, I am teaching lessons online via Skype and Zoom.
