Brant Buckley is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a Bachelors of Music Majoring in Songwriting. Currently residing in Chicago, he’s pulling from the original blues masters (Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf”, Big Bill Broonzy, Willie Dixon, John Primer) to add blues elements to his music. In 2018 he raised $2,000 via Indiegogo and re-released Jesse Graves’ 1972 Gazebo Delta Blues Record. Friend and teacher to Brant, Jesse played with Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, and Tom Waits. In 2012 he released My Life which was featured and reviewed in The Times of India (India’s CNN). 2014’s “Lonely Like Me” demonstrated his sensitive vulnerability. In the summer of 2015, he released a 3 song E.P. called Chicago Summer. Shine, a song about the afterlife, received over 50,000 You Tube Plays. He’s a chameleon; always evolving and embodying the music of his environment.
